hyacinth blue

Is there anything better than the scent of hyacinths in bloom? The chartreuse planter packs a powerful punch. I wish I had 'smell-o-vision' for you...

Easter provided the perfect excuse to fill the house with flowers.

As you know, I've been pulling together some dresses for the girls for a number of upcoming occasions. While, they're all set, I hadn't managed to find anything for myself. The clock's ticking, as Mary Kate's Confirmation is days away. Last-minute Sally, as usual.

Ran out this morning with my Mom, and found a pretty floral dress and a periwinkle blue cardigan.

 It appears, I like blue.

Do you have certain colors you're drawn to?

I'm drawn to greens.
Hyachinths are my favorite smell of Spring. We have a pot out front and get to smell them as we enter and exit daily. Beautiful pictures!

I love periwinkle, but it's not always easy to find. But I'm really drawn to turquoise, aqua, and lime green! I just did post on my cardigan obsession and realized I have at least 5 cardies (not counting other sweaters) in those colors.

Your dress is gorgeous! So are your flowers and I must confess.....I'm drooling over that cute table with the blue trim. Can I come live at your house? I think I might like it there. LOL

Ooh beautiful Molly ! You will look so fabulous in this outfit...

My favorite, you know it; blue in all its shades. From teal, almost mint, up do deep dark navy blue. I love them All.

And no, there is nothing better to have in your home than the fresh blooming hyacinths and their fantastic smell.

So exciting all the events coming up for your family! Enjoy it all.

Those hyacinths are so beautiful! They are one of my favorite spring flowers, I love the smell and they always remind me of my grandfather because he had so many in his garden! I'm sure they make your home smell wonderful! :o)

Is there anything as fresh as white & blue? All I like to dress my boys in is blue or white. Everyone knows I won't put it on them if it's not blue :)

You totally win for cleanest house ever! What I am sitting here for! I should be freshening up my own home! But it is much easier just to enjoy yours!

pink for me, every time. Think it's a backlash against the boyness in my life!
And, I know this is controversial, but I HATE the smell of hydrangeas! I always say it smells of 'grannys knickers'. That's a generic granny you understand - I have no idea what my actual granny's knickers smelt like.
Gonna stop here before this gets any worse.....fee x
