The girls are home for Spring break this week, and while we have more time together than usual, it feels like we've less. How does that work? One of our priorities for the week, is to find dresses for various parties, graduation, and Confirmation. A tall order, with all of our differing opinions. I'd prefer something simple, classic, well-made, and not too revealing. A search for the Holy Grail, might be easier.
While out and about, I stumbled across a few finds...
Do you remember the flower pots I found last March, with Mary Kate?
Well, currently starring on the glass shelves of HomeGoods across the country, 222 Fifth's New Country line of dinnerware. I picked up service for six, as I couldn't bring myself to leave it there. Do you blame me?
After an exhaustive search of dress shops across the area, we ducked into the Apple store for an appointment with their Genius Bar. The girls' bumpers on their iPhones were falling apart, and mine was discolored. They were kind enough to exchange them, and I happily chose a new CK case.
Last, but not least, I picked up a variety of fabrics for a few projects we have up our sleeves. Now, if reality could only match my imagination, we might be in business. We'll see...

You always find the best goodies. Such beautiful fabric choices. I can't wait to see what you create. Enjoy every second of your spring break. The girls are off next week and will be helping me adjust to crutches.
PS. I hope a certain package made it safely across the big lake. Hugs.
Hi Molly, all is looking so great - you must have an amazing time with your girls all together. The fabrics and the mugs look wonderful, I am excited to see what you are going to make with the fabrics! They look very promising.
And thank you again and again for the lovely yarn you gave me when we met, they turned out into coasters and I am enjoying them all day !
You are such a lovely lady and I am lucky to know you as a friend.
Enjoy the rest of the break,
xo Maaike

I have that same set of dishes. :o) Bowls and dessert plates too. My husband purchased them for our anniversary last year. :o) I wish I had a HomeGoods store. I have coveted your flower pots since you first shared them with us! :o)
Have a nice spring break. :o)
I love the combination of polka dots and floral on the cups and pots.
Fabric always inspires me too! Best of luck while creating.
What beautiful treasures! I have some dessert plates from Home Goods that are the 22 Fifth's New Country! I love them!!xo Heather
I am convinced these are made for you and the girls. Turn them over and they have your name on them! Surely! I can never win the battle of the dresses. Mine are always too demure. If I could put a cardigan and sweater clip on her every time I would be happy. I can only imagine four voices with choices. Best to you all during your time that shortens with each year that they grow...smiles...Renee
I, too couldn't resist the mugs at Home Goods!
Good luck with the dress shopping...I am sure you will find ones that are perfect...eventually!!
I very much would like a CK iPhone cover!
