'the world is mud-luscious and puddle-wonderful'
Busy packing today. I'm escaping the dreary weather, and heading south for a brief sojourn in the sunshine state. I'm taking the littlest sis, as the others can't miss school. It will be Rosie's first time on a plane. Excitement with a capital E. She's had a tough winter, and I think a little time in the sun might be the best medicine.
Rosie's worried the swimming pool might have a resident alligator. Let's hope that's not the case.

I sure hope there are no alligators in the pool! I soooo need some sunshine too! I might meet you down there :) Now THAT would scare ya :) I'll leave you be but I hope you have a wonderful time soaking up the rays & enjoying Rosie!!!
Ooo, no alligators! My in-laws used to take us to a condo that had a sign as you walked to the beach - "Please close gate to keep out alligators." The first time I saw it I asked my husband if his parents didn't like me! ;) Thankfully, in all our visits we never saw a single alligator. Have a lovely time!
Happy travels and enjoy that sunshine!! xoxo Debbie
hope you have a wonderful time in the sunshine! and i am sure the alligators will be far way resting. :) xo
What a fun trip of firsts for Rosie...just no alligator in the pool! Enjoy the sunshine...
What an exciting trip!! Enjoy the warm weather with Miss Rosie. Have a wonderful time.
PS. The girls picked out new bathing suits for our upcoming getaway. I found the cutest cherry bathing suit for Josie.
Have loads of sunshine and lots of fun...smiles...Renee
Rosie, don't leap in without looking for those alligators!

Alligators? Maybe Captain Hook too? Disneyworld is near,,,hopefully just the cartoon type of alligator will be visiting that pool! Or was that a crocodile? I forget!

That baby girl deserves as much sunshine and Vitamin D as she would like. Have a wonderful time making some memories with her.
I hope you have a lovely trip. How fun to just go with one child at a time. A wonderful memory for certain.
How lovely! I'd love a little bit of sunshine right now! Have a super trip - and always check the pool before you get in for a dip!!! ;-)

I hop the two of you have the best time and get lots, but no too much sun.
Maybe there will just be an inflatable alligator! (But I remember the inflatable shark that terrified my grand kids...)
Have fun in the sun!
xoxo Bunny Jean
I bet the sun is just what the doctor ordered. Hope it's a wonderful get-away!
As for your post about spring...I so wish I could love it. But I'm just scared to death of tornadoes so I find myself dreading spring's arrival and wishing it away. Maybe I should just move to Santa Fe where they don't have any crazy weather? Your blanket of snow did look pretty, though!
Oh how perfect for the two of you! I am happy to read this, although a bit later...
Any way, tell Rosie I checked the pools for her 3 weeks ago and they were clear. The beaches: same thing.
Enjoy sweet ladies! In my mind I am travelling with you...
