fluttering curtains

Rosie and I had a wonderful time in Florida visiting Grand and Gram. Swimming was her her absolute favorite, followed by the airplane ride. Would you believe there really was a tiny alligator in the pool?

Someone had left a tiny toy wind-up one, just for Rosie

While we were gone, Spring arrived. The windows are open, curtains blowing in the breeze. This one is a vintage embroidered linen table square. I tacked it up some time ago using some butterfly pins. It flutters, nicely.

What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

A REAL alligator? Seriously? Was it cute?
It's lovely here in Rhode Island today - sunny but cold which is better than snowy and cold!

It's nearly 80 here in Arkansas. A bit too warm for this time of year for me. Everything is beautiful though - lots of color.

Glad your trip was fun and Rosie got an alligator for herself.

Welcome back! How lovely that Rosie got her very own alligator. It actually hit 80 degrees in Grand Rapids yesterday. I'm thinking a picnic in our special treehouse will be necessary.

Glad you had a nice visit. Our weather here, in the desert, has been in the 80's, but this weekend it might get cold and possible rain.

That's too funny about the alligator! Our weather is awesome right not. Highs around 80, which is actually a tad too warm for my liking. I think that's 25-30 degrees above our average for this time of year. Everything is starting to blossom :)

Your butterfly pins are the perfect touch. Glad you had a nice time in FL. The weather here is record breakingly warm so we are keeping our windows open, too.

I can't believe there ended up being a alligator in the pool. That is funny, but at least it was a toy. :) The weather is absolutely sunny and warm. A most lovely day! xo Heather

I'm so pleased that you had a lovely time in Florida! And there was even an alligator in the pool!!! ;-)
Spring has arrived here in Germany over night. Weddnesday was dull and really, really cold. But yesterday and today have been sunny and REALLY warm for this time of year. People were picnicing in the park, and wearing t-shirts and shorts!!! I hope it lasts - that the weather's not just tricking us into thinking that spring's here!!! Carly

I'm jealous! Spring is slowly coming to Newfoundland. The temperature was above 0 degrees Celsius today and the sun felt warm shining on us, but we still have about 3 feet of snow in the front yard.
