thunder snow

We awoke to Narnia this morning. A thick, heavy snow fell over night and blanketed everything in white. Everything's quiet. Not even one bird chirping.

Dramatic thunder and lightening accompanied the snowfall. The girls awoke hoping to hear the magic words... snow day. Instead, off they went to school.

While Rosie and I washed the slipcovers, and admired our new blue and white lamp. Is there anything better than freshly bleached slipcovers? I. Don't. Think. So.

Looking forward to the official first day of Spring, in just three short weeks.
We can do it.

oH my gosh! I can't believe how much you have! We sadly had practically none this winter, all the buds are on the trees & bulbs are popping up.

Though we're excited to see an early spring, we missed having a good snowfall this year!

You probably don't want to tell your daughters this...but my girls got a snow day. We also had thunder. Gorgeous pictures of your sweet little playhouse dwelling. Enjoy your beautiful home. Stay cozy this weekend.

Yes, you are indeed in Narnia and I expect to see the faun and a lamp post any minute, near your home.

We are getting snow right now, it's beautiful, but I long for Spring. Your room looks like a spring day! So pretty, and the lamp is beautiful!

What magical snow pictures! I never heard of lighting during a snow storm.

It has been in the 90's here for the last few days! My Spring will be here and gone before we know it and then the LONG, HOT summer.

I just LOVE that pretty room... so yummy in all it's sherbet colors...

Well, at least someone got the snow...we did get the rain though. Enjoy it as it looks just beautiful. I am catching up on all my reading. I have been knee deep in 5th grade farewell memory book activities and I am only halfway done. Your house looks far more inviting...smiles...Renee

Your snow blanket does look magical.....we have mountains of dirty snow which are melting a little everyday it seems and were gaining daylight by the minutes these days. Spring is on its way but we still have some snow coming here and there yet.
No there is nothing better than fresh bleached anything....love that clean smell! and that lamp is amazing......put that on my wish list next to the chickens....enjoy your weekend!

How beautiful! We don't see much snow in Alabama, but in 1993 we had a huge snow with lightening and thunder. I guess you could call it a real snowstorm. :)

I do wish that was the view from our window. Snow here has been scarce. making me fear that we will have winter weather when spring arrives. xo P.S. Did you get your entry in for the sweetheart giveaway? It ends tomorrow
