The acquisition of new linens required some serious re-arranging. Have you noticed the prevalence of chickens in various places as of late? I'm powerless to resist, but mine are of the inanimate variety.
Much easier to take care of, and a lot quieter.
I've a serious thing for vintage tablecloths. Something about the cheerful combination of color and pattern. Ironing them is a pleasure.
Cluckily, you can find them all over the place. Original ones and quality reproductions abound. Sunshine in cloth form.

I'm really loving the colours on your blog. I seem to collect everything!! Fabric, Emma Bridgewater pottery, custard glasses, wooden cotton reels... Apart from the pottery and the custard glasses I don't intentionally collect anything, it just seems to appear!
Love the blog..
PS. I've just noticed we have the same print on our blogs, the Katie Daisy one. Another thing I seem to collect is typographic prints!
I got these lovely chicks for my birthday from my hubby...I got to pick out a CK birthday box! :) LOVE ALL OF YOUR LINENS!
You are so right, Molly! Sunshine in cloth form! Hope my box arrived to you safely! Blessings!
Love your colourful, sunshiny tablecloths and your adorable chickens. My favourite ones ;-)
Bye,
Marian
I'm crazy over your chickens.....and your linens...my my must go for another look!
Oh how I love the vintage table clothes too! I have a large closet and have them hanging, organized by color ~ Love your blot ~ Linda
I too have a love for vintage tablecloths. Although, I must admit, I have never ironed any of them. They are all neatly folded in a cabinet.
I have so many collections, it isn't even funny. Lately I have fallen in love with Irmi, baby toys, vintage dollhouses and vintage playthings. Like I really need forty more varieties of collections!
Aren't your chickens delightful! I especially love your fabulous tablecloth collection. So many yummy colors and designs. I'm afraid to admit how many collections keep popping up at my house. I'm not very good at keeping a secret though. My blog is an open-book of collections. Smile.
May I ask where you bought the chick coffee mugs? Been looking for new big mugs and since we have chickens, they would be PERFECT!!
There is such delight in the patterns and colors of linens from the past. The beauty that was put into such an everyday object. The quality of the cloth is so impressive as well. I too could iron them all day. Your collection is beautiful. I have been enjoying little tin litho tea sets of late...smiles...Renee
Oh my, my heart is going pitter pat! Such a beautiful collection of linens. I love your new CK chicken items...I must get the mug and towels and S & P's!
Oh these pictures make me want a BIG Ol bag of Easter Candy... Love the Freshness and the Springy feel of them.. :)
Love your 'sunshine in fabric form' phrase - its so true! I like vintage tablecloths too, especially linen ones. I'm tempted to not use them though because a guest just dumped red wine on my favorite red & aqua roses tablecloth. Maybe I just won't serve red wine again!
There must be a chicken drought here... I've not encoutered any cute little chooks :( but you have inspired me to iron my mass of vintage table cloths and make them all pretty!
"Cluckily" haha, that's clever. My latest collection consists of hair clips--the flowered variety and crackle paint.

I only have a handful of old tablecloths, but I love them to pieces. Your collection makes me drool. They're just so dang happy!
I am loving your vintage tablecloth collection. I collect those too! I love the look of piles of them stacked according to color and theme. I love the floral and berries the best. Love your chicks too.

Your chickens are just adorable! And I LOVE your collection of vintage tablecloths and hotpads. I have collected a few of those too. Inherited two from my Grandma and have found all the rest online and in local shops. Where are you finding your reproduction cloths?
Hello from England! Nice to meet someone from elsewhere who loves Cath Kidston. You dont say which county on your profile so Im guessing USA or Canada? I love your vintage cloths we dont get those here. Im a new follower :-)

Oh such sweet little chickens and gorgeous vintage cloths.....
They look lovely, all pressed and stacked up on the shelf.
I love chooks and have a few sitting on my kitchen bench...the inanimate breed!!
I also love finding vintage cloths and charity shops, my little collection is slowly growing.....
Such a bright and happy post! I love the chickens and the linens, and seeing such fresh and beautiful colours.....and you have reminded me I have a lot of linen to go and fold! I just collect anything that takes my fancy....and it often turns out to be floral or dotty or both!

Oh, and the chickens are too cute, too!
Such happy, happy fabrics and chicks here! Your blog just makes my heart sing.

They don't make tablecloths like that anymore! I was lucky enough to have a mom that collected them as well, so I was able to enjoy them as I was growing up. We have special ones for certain holidays, and many others that come out all year long.
Oh mercy me, look at all your beautiful linens! I want to dig through those stacks :)
Hi Molly,
What a sweet collection of linens, and chickens. I am loving the powder blue color on those chickens!
I love how you photographed them all. Beautiful!
Happy Tuesday to you!
xoxo...Gloria
I am a bit envious of that beautiful pile of vintage goodness. ☺
Oh Molly, you have a great collection! I have most of mine folded and stacked like that too but I wish I could display them all open! I actually tried hanging them on an indoor clothes line but itooked dumb! Ha-ha!
I'm collecting so many things these days that the question would be- what don't I collect? :)
Your blog is full of so much cuteness I can hardly stand it!
The colors are so amazing! It is such a treat just to peek at your pictures. I see your cath usa link on the side & I had to laugh because I keep looking at the site every few days trying to decide what to get....their you go...I need to just start colecting all her stuff!

What sweet eye candy, makes me want to get all mine out and take pictures of them. What have you found to be the best stain removers for the old stains on some of the tableclothes? Just wondering as I have a few with stains and trying to get them out or cut them up for projects. Love your cheery blog.
Such a gorgeous post those CK chickens are so sweet, I am heading to the city this weekend to get some! I have lots of real chickens that try to get into my cottage too!
Take care
Denise
