a little like christmas

It's beginning to look a little like Christmas.

One of the joys of pulling the Christmas things out of storage, reacquainting yourself with past projects. A white button wreath put together last year, happily sporting a red polka dotted bow. Thinking back to how much fun I had making it...

With Rosie sick, I'm a little behind in my usual holiday prep. Things aren't happening the way they usually do, and that's ok. At least, that's what I keep reminding myself. I'm concentrating on simplifying and focusing on what's really important this year. How about you?

beautiful wreath- and beautiful memories- we are all about making those....x

focusing on what's really important is the way to go at Christmas...some times the creating of those perfect Christmas moments seems more important than just letting oneself be *in* that moment....

yes it is so ok that things don't happen the way they are supposed to happen...we're flying home Dec 20- Christmas is going to be a bit of a balance- but we'll all be together and that's what I'm focusing on...

I hold your little one in my heart and prayers. Nothing more difficult than a child who is not feeling well. Praying God blesses her with renewed health and your heart with peace . XXX

Hope Rosie continues to improve. No matter what you get done or don't get done as long as you are all together makes the holiday special.

Your wreath is charming!

I love the wreath. I am s-l-o-w-l-y getting the house decorated. I just started a full time job and I just don't have the time I used to when I was a stay at home mom. I have today off and plan on adding a little here and there, but it's really all about spending time with family and friends and worship. Decorating has to take a back seat:>)

Hi bb,
I have been peeking at your blog for awhile, now. I love my visits!

So sorry to hear about your little one. She was an cutie of a strawberry on Halloween.

The button wreath is quite lovely. You just don't know how badly I would love to stay at home and craft, instead of being a teacher! I think that as time goes on my burnout level increases.

If you have a moment, I would love for you to visit my blog. Hope your little strawberry is doing much better this week.
Thanks for sharing all your lovely ideas and things!
Cindy
PS--I still have the exact angel figurine (from my godmother when I turned one) that you have featured on your heading.
