For last year's words belong to last year's language.
~T.S. Eliot
Looking forward is one of my favorite things to do. Fresh starts, clean notebooks, and new beginnings, what's not to like? We're staying in and greeting the new year quietly, with our traditional 'pizza making' from scratch plan. My in-laws, the parents of six children, started doing it years ago. It's a nice way to keep everyone in, happy and safe for the night.
Wishing you and yours a very happy start to the new year.

Happy New Year to you and your family! We also stay home on New Year's Eve during our 20 years of marriage, and only two years ago we started staying up to watch the ball drop because our kids were old enough. You're right - safe and happy.
Hugs,
Mary

Your bird blue image is sooo perfectly YOU! It's been so much fun getting to know you and your special blog, Molly. Whenever I look at our lovely treehouse, I think of your darling playhouse. We're staying home too. Lots of boardgames and homemade Chinese food await.

Sweet Molly, Wishing you a sparkling happy New Year!
I have been cleaning out my sewing room, trying to eliminate some things and organizing the rest. I'm sure this will keep me from getting the post holiday blues. Actually I'm kind of enjoying getting back into the normal routine. Hopefully by the time nice weather comes around I will have gotten the house all in order so I can enjoy being outside. I hope you had a wonderful holiday and that 2012 is the best year ever!
