True confession time...
I've let the garden go. Due to circumstances beyond my control, including copious amounts of rain and general back-to-school 'busy-ness', it now resembles a jungle. And, I'm not referring to a lush, tropical rain forest type of jungle. Think overgrown 'Wizard of Oz', the trees and shrubs might grab you...
If it could talk it would say, 'Surrender Dorothy'.
I'm going to have to show that garden who's boss.
Have you entered our Clean give-away yet?

Yup, mine too. Even more so since I've neglected it the entire summer. So ashamed of myself but it was kind and bloomed for me anyways. Hope I can clean it up before winter!
From what I see it looks good...love those blue flowers. xoxo Hugs
I think it looks pretty good!! Send some of that rain our way!! Are those stock flowers on the top...pretty!
Your jungle looks beautiful, Molly! Mine looks like an out of control weed farm. I sure wish I was being boss in your garden instead!
Gorgeous flowers and photos! :)
Shh! I let mine go too. I need to get in there and define the borders more but they are coming next week to put the new roof and paint on...I think I will wait! Maybe I could come and give you a hand. It is always more fun at someone elses house. Smiles...Renee
Since school started (and my Mr. Mom went back to work) all our landscaping has suffered. We're making the most of what we have left in our garden. Your blooms are just gorgeous.
Its not that bad, pretty flowers.I have morning glories growing up my house in the back. but now they are getting brown leaves.I love morning glories but the season now is about the end for them.
Happy Thursday ahead Molly!
Your delphiniums are beautiful!! I do pretty well with my garden in the spring and early summer. Then somewhere in late summer the wasps get angry at anything that comes near the Russian Sage and the mosquitos triple their birth rate. So, I'll just wait til we have a cold snap and then go out and pull up anything that doesn't belong.
it does look quite W of O...rambling? or over grown??
There's nothing like getting back into it - is there- such a sense of achievement!
Enjoy!

Gorgeous gardens!
Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog. I can't believe that it has been a year either. It has gone so fast, and I am very grateful. It feels good to have all of the firsts over with and to have the grief lessen a bit. Thanks again, Joyce
looks glorious to me :)

The one flower I most want to plant is the delphinium and your photos remind me of this. Don't worry about your garden, the songbirds will thrive there.
Oh I still love it! What pretty flowers.
And I love the green & white ribbon you used for the wreath on your front door.
Hi Molly,
Your blues in your garden sing to my heart...:) Nothing quite as lovely as the color blue,,,mix it in a flower and it is heavenly!
I hope you have a gorgeous Autumn weekend, sweet friend.
xoxo...Gloria
