Out and about, I spotted one of my long-time favorite scents on sale. Clean Provence. A soft, fresh perfume reminiscent of pure French soap and water. Not a case of the 'Emperor's new clothes', I assure you, it really is lovely.
Then, I noticed several 'sister' scents, at a price impossible to resist...
Fear not, my friends, I didn't forget about you. Tell me a favorite memory related to fragrance, and I'll randomly pick a winner on Saturday, September 22, to receive Clean Simply Soap, Eau de Parfum. If you're a follower of my blog, please let me know for a second chance.
I'm so crossing my fingers for you!
'CLEAN Perfume was launched by Fusion Brands Inc. in April 2003. Randi Shinder, the founder, desired a fragrance that was reminiscent of pure soap, that universal fresh out of the shower scent. Unable to find such a fragrance, she developed her own…CLEAN. CLEAN is formulated in small quantities to ensure all ingredients are fresh, pure, and of the highest quality. CLEAN is a lifestyle brand that has expanded from its core CLEAN fragrance to encompass ancillaries that remain true to CLEAN's promise of simplicity in a complicated world. Get CLEAN. Smell Good.'

Favorite memory related to fragrance. The first diaper change of my oldest daughter the smell of Baby magic lotion.I'm a long time follower.I would love to win seems like the softest scent.*sigh*
I'm going to admit that some of my favorite perfumes have nothing to do with the fragrance but it's all about the bottles. When we were in China I picked up some interesting perfume bottles and still enjoy buying facial powder from Pearl River online because the container/ powder puff is so pretty.
Ah the smell of fragrance...I am a migraine sufferer and have to be ever so careful of which ones I choose. Recently wore Stella by Stella McCartney and loved it without a migraine. Have now moved on to Philosophy Summer Love. My most favorite memory...the smell of opening up a Covergirl compact. That smells just like my mom! Smiles...Renee
A favorite memory is that of honeysuckle. Every time I smell it I am back on the farm as a child playing house with my sisters with
jar lid dishes and honeysuckle bouquets on the table.
Love all the CLEAN scents.

My favorite scent memory - I took a really long time to select my wedding fragrance: Marc Jacob's DAISY.
My wedding photog took so many lovely pics of the bottle, and I still smile when I catch a whiff of that smell :D
I also follow your blog :)
also... i follow your blog in my google reader account!
a whiff if l'air du temps always makes me think of my mom.
My favorite memory associated with fragrance is the scent of the sheets at my grandmother's house. Crawling under the covers at night when we went to visit her was heavenly. She passed away in 2003 and I was unable to attend her funeral, I had said my goodbyes to her at Christmas knowing it would be the last time I would see her. The weekend she passed away, I was house sitting for a friend of mine and when I crawled into bed that night, her sheets smelled just like my grandmother's did. A wave of peace washed over me and in that moment, even though I couldn't fly home to Canada for her funeral, I felt she knew how much I loved her and that was her way of comforting me.
I'm a devoted follower! :D

I always think of my mom when I smell Tea Rose b/c she wore it when I was younger.
Warm jasmine, coming off the plane in Morocco and seeing the blue and white tiled terminal. What a lovely calarity these products have.
I grew up near Cadbury's chocolate factory, indeed my family are dairy farmers and we supplied milk to Cadburys! Every day I cycled to school past the factory and the smell was amazing!!

I always use to love that Beautiful perfume. This morning I was talking to my neighbor, and she had this lusciously-scented jasmine growing. I told her it smelled exactly like perfume.

When I was a child, my grandmother made me a crown of honey suckle blooms. I can remember how sweet they smelled and it is still one of my favorite fragrances. Thanks for entering me for your generous giveaway.

My favorite scent memory is when I was 18 and started dating my husband. He went away to school shortly after we professed our love to one another. The very first letter I got from him he had put a spot of his cologne. I sniffed that letter for days! I still have the letter, 31 years later. Thank you for reminding me of that special time. I'm a happy, devoted follower too!
I remember my first real "perfume".Loves Baby Soft was what all the girls were wearing in Jr. High. I loved it and felt so grown up:>) I tend to prefer light, fresh scents, this sounds intrigueing!

OOOOHHHH!!!! I am a wonderfully SCENTED follower... : ) Well at least now that I am older that is... : )
It's so funny you ask this question... I was just in CVS the other day smelling one of my teenage memories....My Best Friend and I thought that the Perfume...( if you can even call it that...) was Exclamation !!! I know I know terrible Cheap stuff....but back then in the 80's it was the stuff to wear...Maybe it had something to do with the cute little Exclamation bottle....So there I was in CVS smelling it and thinking how in the world could I have ever worn this stuff....I instantly had a headache... But I guess when your young your smeller can be a bit off... : )
Crossing my Toes... For this wonderful giveaway...
My died from breast cancer when I was 11. Whenever I smeall Channel No. 19 it always reminds me of her. I still have a bottle of hers and every once in a while I will open it and smell it to jog my memories.
Wow, love that story about the scented letter! I am a follower of your blog. I like plenty of different scents--freshly cut grass, hay, apples, citrus perfume etc.
hello!
what a lovely giveaway and sweet entry idea.
gosh, fragrance is such a strong memory trigger. i'm always struck by the smell of a closed cabinet that holds jars of spices. the smell that fuses together can sometimes become like a strong version of celery salt and transports me immediately to the warm, sunny kitchen of my nana and popa.
i've never smelled "clean" -- (that sounds funny, doesn't it). it sounds delightful.
thanks for the opportunity

When I was a freshman in college I bought a vanilla parfume and wore it while taking my finals before Christmas break. So now every time I smell the vanilla parfume, I think of finals... Pretty unpleasant association... our powerful brains.
One of my earliest memories involves a scent... the little plastic strawberry shortcake dolls and their scent. My daughter recently got one and those memories came rushing in.
I'm picky about fragrances and these sound lovely.

Favorite fragrance memory - I have two. My mom wore Oil of Olay moisturizer and Coty Emeraude perfume. Whenever I smell those, I'm reminded of my mom.
Gosh that sounds so lovely, I would love to have it in my hands to smell it!
My Grand mother was a very social woman who used to belong to lots of clubs that did Charity Ball every year. Each year at these balls, all the ladies would be given a bottle of perfume. As her only Grand daughter, I always got to have them. i could never wait to visit her and get into her perfume cabinet and have a good old spray of each. I must have smelt awful with so many scents on me, but it was fantastic as a little girl. Diorissimo was her scent and I love having a bottle in my stash just to remind me of her and the fun of the visits!
Have a super day!

Hi lovely- that scent looks gorgeous- I've never smelt it....if it's fresh & clean though - just perfect!
I have two favourite scents- CK One -which I also find simple & clean- reminds me of my husband each & every morning...for the last 10 years he has always made sure there is a bottle of this on my dressing table...i love that - it's our special thing...and our little Audrey comes in on the weekend to have a spray with me of *mummy & daddy's special perfume*...she loves that story!
The other is *Johnson's Baby Powder*- it instantly takes me back in time to life with our kids when they were babies- freshly washed...bond's singlets & fresh cloth nappies on...powdered & kicking in the sun in Sydney...i adore these memories of all three of them...
Have a wonderful weekend...we are off to Malta in two sleeps- packing little bikini's & sunscreen now!
Melissa- Miss Sew & So...xxx
PS- You know I'm a very happy long time follower- love it here at yours...x

Clean! This sounds like something I would actually like.
I had a friend try to sell me aftershave and cologne for my husband once. I told her no thanks, that I preferred my husband to smell like soap. You should have seen the look on her face. :-)

Fragrant memory is lilacs which grew in our yard when I was growing up. We had white and light purple and dark purple lilacs and for a brief period in spring, the best scents in the world.
I remember my Grandma's kitchen in her little house had this wonderfully pleasant smell of lemons and coffee...sounds like an odd combination, but just thinking about it has a very soothing effect on me...thanks for the generous giveaway.
I am a new follower of your blog - it's lovely!
Thanks for the give-away :) I am a follower of your blog. One memory scent that I have is from this time of year & you don't smell it much anymore since local laws have changed...can you guess what it might be? The wonderful smell of burning leaves :) From back in the day when neighbors used to burn their Fall raked up leaves in old metal trash cans - it was a wonderful smell in the Autumn air...
Smiles, DianeM
