view from the porch

The view from my porch is particularly fetching this spring. The viburnums,
crabapples, and pansies are really bringing it.
Sitting on the porch, I start thinking about what's wrong. What needs help, more mulch, some pruning, a little edging, and so on. Focusing too much on the micro view, and not enough on the macro.
It's a little bit like life. I'm finding I need to concentrate on the big picture, and not focus on the frustrating little details. Count blessings, instead of faults.
As some-what of a perfectionist, I'm well aware of the fact that nothing in life is ever perfect.
Except, maybe the spring blooms on a dwarf crabapple?
Have a peaceful and relaxing weekend.  Happy Memorial Day, if you're in the States.
Happiest of birthday wishes to my Dad and my dear nephew Brendan.

Beautiful pictures, Molly. Gorgeous blossoms and views from your porch. I'm going to show off our yard tomorrow on the blog...which I can't take a single ounce of credit for. It's all my husband's green thumb.

Have a beautiful Memorial weekend.

Soooo pretty molly (was going to say porch envy but trying to limit my envying!)

We don't really do porches over here - guessing it's because we don't have enough nice weather to sit on ones porch.

keep telling jane she should make cases (like my phone one) as she could knock them up in no time!
She made cleggy a laptop case for his mini laptop last year in CK cowboy fabric - another thing of beauty...

Oh so pretty! Love the view. I am like you I have a hard time seeing the big picture. . . I focus too much on small annoying things. It is good to count your blessings. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs to you, Karie

Well said. Another reason I love to be outside although I like to stop and see the small stuff like the lady bug on the leaf...because we run so fast through life. Overall, it is beautifully framed. Smiles...Renee

Hello Molly,
I thank you for the dear news to my garden. I am glad that you like him.
I also find, a garden may not be perfect, but cosily and comfortably with small little corners.
Thank you for your nice garden pictures, a dream!
Kind regards sends Dana from Bavaria
