vintage haviland

Can you believe it's almost Friday?
It's time for a little something pretty.
I recently found this complete vintage French Haviland china service for twelve. Would you believe there's over 130 pieces? While I don't know the specific pattern name, it's stamped 'Haviland France' in green and 'Haviland Co, Limoges' in red.
There's one piece that's not like the others.
Maybe a little mishap?
I've long admired the hand painted nature of vintage French Haviland, but I usually see it in a mostly pink color-way.  I really like the blue and green 'forget-me-not' motif in this set.
Love the golden highlights...
I hope you have a lovely weekend.
I'm looking forward to the sun deciding to shine once again...
If you have a moment, and are in the mood for a little blog hoppin' check out...

What a find! So pretty and delicate. I found my first piece of French limoges last weekend at Goodwill, but the clerk accidently hit it on the counter when putting it in the bag and chipped the plate. I was so disappointed. Enjoy your beautiful set ~ just lovely.

Congrats! Vintage Haviland is such a find! Several Mother's days ago, I found a few teacups and saucers in a lovely violet pattern. Have been trying to find more, but it is hard to match the exact pattern. Glad you found a complete set. Such a sweet pattern, too!

I do love Haviland. My great grandmother was a Haviland dealer. Thanks to her, all the women in the family have had a set handed down to them. Mine is the classic pink and blue flowers with gold edges. It came to me from my "Pink Grama" no less.
Because I have 3 boys it is in a box tucked away. Someday... when they are bigger, it will be used again.
