Keeping the people of Japan in our prayers.
So devastatingly sad.

About the American Red Cross:
The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies nearly half of the nation's blood; teaches lifesaving skills; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families. The Red Cross is a charitable organization — not a government agency — and depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its mission.

Upon retiring as a Critical Care Nurse, my Mom volunteered. She now works and travels quite a bit with the Red Cross. I can't say enough about how much I respect this organization (and my Mom).

Good Morning! I love your post... I wanted to tell you that my husband was just outside of Tokyo when the earthquake hit. He is fine and they are re-routing him home to arrive Wed. evening. While he can't wait to get home, I know his heart is heavy leaving the devastation behind.
I feel very connected to what has been going on over there and have been trying to come up with a post. Would it be possible for me to borrow your image? I would also like to attach the Red Cross link as well.
I love hearing about your Mother, a serving helpful heart.
Angie
What would we do without them?
