happy spring

Happiness? The color of it must be spring green...
~Frances Mayes, Bella Tuscany, The Sweet Life in Italy

Spring is officially here.
Oh, happy day!

I put some flowers together yesterday for my sister, Katie.
Took a couple of quick pictures, even though the lighting wasn't the best.

Weather for the first day of Spring, was gloomy and dark
with severe thunderstorms and lots of hail.

 Sunshine will be thoroughly appreciated.
I promise.

Is it Spring in your neck of the woods, yet?

Spring is peeking out in Chicago. This is my first winter, here, I have been warned . . . winter can still show up here and there. We will see and hope.

Fondly,
Glenda

We are not quite seeing colorful blooms yet, but yes we are claiming SPRING!!! Warm weather today 60's, but later this week it will be in the 30's again. Nevertheless it is SPRING, and those bright colorful flowers that you posted took my breath away!

Happy Spring!

What pretty roses.

Maybe we should swap. Our Queensland Autumn is hot, our garden is full of new flowers. I'm dreaming of gloomy and dark and cups of hot chocolate:)

Lovely welcome to Spring. Our first day was warm and windy but tomorrow brings rain and storms. I am grateful for it all...I've been spying on my peony heads and itching to go to the nursery. Yesterday I heard a mower...Smiles...Renee

Our Saturday was warm and in the 50s...it's tanked ever since then with lots of rain and chilly temps. Your flowers are just divine.

Such sweet roses...My favorites!

It's trying very hard to be Spring here and I make sure I enjoy each and every warm day that comes along. Rain in the forecast for the next few days (April showers early)

How gorgeous!!! It's definitely springtime in Atlanta! If it's this hot now, we're going to spontaneously combust in August due to the heat...

Very pretty roses you put together for your sister. How sweet you are to do that...:)

Spring is here with quite a few showers mixed with it. It will make for some beautiful green and pretty flowers.

Well I thought so indeed, momentarily that is! I did observe my first Robin two days ago, and then last night...SNOW! Tonight 18 windy and chilly degrees! So aside from all the pastel Spring decorations on the front porch, still looks like winter here! Beautiful flowers!!! Lori
