v-day

There is no charm equal to tenderness of heart.
~Jane Austen

The middle school Valentine's dance is tonight. What to wear, who to go with, and what if, my goodness,  you get asked to dance? All the little details worthy of careful consideration...
My youngest daughter had her party yesterday, and loved every minute of it. I think Valentine's day might be better for those three and under. They're pleased with the littlest things. Thrilled to frost a cupcake, craft with feathers and pom poms, and hand a valentine to their pals. Angst-free.
I hope you have a happy, fun filled Valentine's day with your sweetie.
I can't wait to read all about it.

If you have a moment, take a peek at I Love Pretty Little Things.

Yes, poor girls everything has such meaning. My boys just live and never worry. My daughter has worry over everything down to the color of her hair band. My most favorite quote by none other than my favorite author Miss Jane. I had a bracelet inscribed with it for my best friend. Thanks for the sweet post. Renee

Aw, a Valentine's dance, that sounds romantic and fun. In the Netherlands Valentine is not celebrated that much as it is in the US. All the giggling in your house today... finally leaving home beautifully dressed... to have fun fun fun.

Have a great weekend, happy preparing for V-day, Molly. xxxx

My daughter experienced her first Valentines party yesterday at pre-school. She was in heaven and told me she was having the best day ever. she is three. you may be right about this!
oh, and, since you pointed out my shutters were upside down, I can bear to look at them till I fix this! Then again, we don't get much rain here in the dining room - maybe I don't need to fret about this

I think anything is probably more enjoyable either before or after middle school, where every little thing matters SO much! There is also such a joy and wonderment during that blossoming time of life...As a mother, I preferred the younger, easily satisfied version of Valentine parties. Simple love and simple feelings. :) But, it is all good!
I Love the sweet Valentines cards.
Have a wonderful Valentines day with your sweetie!
