christmas color

A bit of shopping took place this weekend. Although, my husband finds it hard to believe that I can fit one more ornament on our heavily bedecked Christmas tree, I always find a way. As a long time fan of Ms. Martha Stewart's Christmas line at Kmart, I'm happy to report that she's throwing it down equally as well at Macy's. Although, I will always miss Marshall Fields.
I believe I've mentioned my affinity for gingerbread cookies?
Love the colors.
Once a year, our little village's fire department rides around with Santa on their truck tossing candy to all little girls and boys while thrillingly blasting their sirens. This year it was during a snow storm. That didn't stop my girls from waiting out in the snow for over an hour. My youngest, Rosie, was absolutely beyond thrilled...
'It's really him!', she squealed.

Wonderful post! Love the MS stuff--not sure if I'm happy you shared those or not! (gonna be in trouble!) Love that snowy picture of your Rosie--just adorable! I have a Rosie, too, so I'm a bit partial!

Have a most beautiful day!

I miss Marshall Fields, Wanamakers and Jordan Marsh - all great stores that have been taken over by Macy's. They were individual and regional and now everything is a chain.

I do love those ornaments.

Rose is adorable.

I had no idea Martha was at Macy's! I will have to make a point to check in there next time I'm at the mall! I like the cupcake set, all of them are adorable and would look so cute on a kitchen tree! I have to say that your pics of the fireman santa and your little ones are absolutely priceless. How nice for them to have such a memory in the future to tell their little ones about!

Those colors are perfect for you!! Yes, Macy's took over our Jones Store, and no one was happy to see that change. I do like Martha's line, and yes two of my little bottle brush animals did come from her. The rest were gathered over years from various little shops, or were handmade during a Christmas crafting session. And they just all fit together nicely.

I like Martha's line too, I miss her Martha by Mail catalog. Our fire department does the santa bit also, but they do theirs at night and they light up the engine with a million christmas lights!
