gather ye acorns, while you may...
How are you this fine fall day?
My youngest girlfriend and I took a long walk looking for acorns this morning. She was anxious to add to her growing collection. Luckily, our street is literally teeming with dozens of delightfully prolific oak trees. While acorns are lovely to gather, I imagine tending to them 'covering' your lawn might pose some problems. Ah, autumn...
We are now in need of some clever craft ideas using acorns. While the older girls enjoy making flower fairies with little acorn caps, I recently discovered these little felted acorns. I think that we really need to make some today.

Speaking of oaks...can I just say how much my oakleaf hydrangeas are kicking it this year?
