dinner?

I don't know about you, but I'm always looking for new recipes.
Today is rainy, the perfect day to pull out some books and experiment.
The garden has really been kicking it in the tomato department,
so I'll probably do something in that direction...
Maybe a tomato basil pie?

What's for dinner at your house?

Hi Birdie Blue. Let's see...not sure about tonight but I had corn, squash, cojita cheese, and basil that needed to be used up last night so funny enough, I stumbled upon two recipes yesterday on blogs. I made a squash casserole and added cherry tomatoes and cucumber to the others to make a salad.

Your blog is so cute! I can't wait to read more of it. What's for dinner? Grilled salmon, asparagus and fresh-picked corn on the cob!

What happy colored picture, Molly! We have had spinach lasagna with cheese, lots of cheese on top.
Enjoy your tomatoes, I add them to my salads, my lasagna, to many meals. They also taste very good on a sandwich with cheese!
Hope your week is lovely so far. xxooxx

my sweet chicks have been gifting us with lots of eggs- I am thinking a tomato and spinach omelet sounds yummy but your suggestion of tomato and basil sounds delicious!
