the little house

How did it get to be Friday already?
It's time for something pretty.

It occurred to me that I never shared
the updates to the little house in the back garden.

Do you remember what it looked like before?

We added vents to the top of the playhouse for some cross-ventilation.
It used to be stifling hot in the loft on warm afternoons.
A veritable easy-bake oven...

We also ran some rain gutters along the eaves.
Redirecting the rain will allow the cedar siding to retain it's white stain.
And as much as I like moss, it doesn't look that attractive on the little house.

The front door used to be pink, now it's red...Ladybug Red.
The little screen door is now Blue Hydrangea.
The shutters are now Stem Green.
The siding was stained white once again.

All the paint is Benjamin Moore Aura Exterior from their
View the interior, here and here.

Do you have any fun projects in the works?
So many little time.

OMG! It's soooo cute! I'm just mesmerized by it. My last big project (which I personally did not and could not have done) was have the pavilion built in my yard. Oh yeah, I had the west side of the house landscaped. Nothing big going on here at the moment.

What a little dream House!
And, the names of the colors- I want to buy them even though I don't need them! But, I will remember that line of paint.
Too, Too Fun and absolutely Too, Too Pretty!!!
Thanks for being a part of Friday Pretties. Each one of your girls make Friday so special to me!

I am wanting to see about getting a little house/shed/something built out in the backyard...just for me...and maybe my granddaughter can play there too! Thanks so
much. Love your blog!

LOVE this house and trying to convince husband that we need one! Tell me - does this house have a foundation? If you'd share your plans that would be freaking awesome but I understand if you don't want to. Thanks and love your blog!!

Love this house!!! After literally hours upon hours of looking for the perfect playhouse, I've finally found it! We are going to have someone build it on Thursday (my husband is not handy). Can you tell me the dimensions? Can I ask you a couple of other questions via email?
